Michelle Cheripka graduated from Columbia University, and has since been working in television and media production, while pursuing independent film and writing projects. She wants the Visible Poetry Project to help poets and filmmakers explore interdisciplinary approaches to visual self-expression.
Christina Ellsberg graduated from Barnard College, where she studied medical anthropology and poetry writing. Christina hopes the Visible Poetry Project will encourage new poets to take pride in expression beyond formal publication.
An NYU graduate presently pursuing his master's at Tsinghua University in Beijing, Alex Max has been working in television and media production since his graduation. Hooked on the idea since Michelle first approached him on set, he looks forward to ensuring that the Visible Poetry Project becomes an important and enduring part of National Poetry Month.
After graduating from George Washington University in 2015 with a degree in International Business, Nick Scherma moved to New York to pursue a career in production. Growing up in the film and media world, Nick hopes to bring his experience to the Visible Poetry Project and help it grow in a unique and exciting way.
